Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to information when you visit Brave Review (https://bravereview.com/). It applies to this website and nothing else — any site you reach from a link here is governed by its own policy.

What do you collect?

Things you send us. When you write to us or post a comment, we get whatever you decided to include: a name, an email address and the content of the message. There is no form on this site that asks for anything more.

Things the server records. Our server, like any other, writes a log entry for every request: the IP address, the browser and its version, the operating system, which page was requested, which page sent you, and the date and time. We keep those logs to spot abuse and to diagnose problems.

Cookies. A cookie is a small file that your browser saves on your device. This site may use them to remember preferences, to keep a comment form filled in, and — where analytics or advertising services are in use — to count visits. Your browser settings can block or delete them, though some parts of the site may then behave differently.

There are affiliate links on this site, Amazon’s among them. When you follow one, the retailer may set a cookie of its own so that any purchase can be attributed to this site.

What you buy, what you pay and where it is delivered are never visible to us — we receive only aggregate figures showing that purchases happened. Everything the retailer collects is governed by its own privacy policy, not this one. The commercial side is described on the Affiliate Disclosure page.

Who else is involved?

Running a website means using other companies: a host, security services, a content delivery network, analytics and sometimes advertising partners. Each processes data under its own privacy policy, and advertising partners may use cookies to select ads based on your previous visits here and elsewhere.

What do you do with it?

We use what is described above to:

  • show you the pages you asked for;
  • answer your messages and display your comments;
  • keep the site secure and find technical faults;
  • understand in aggregate which content people find useful.

We do not sell your personal information. It is shared only with the services needed to run the site, or where the law requires it.

How long do you keep it?

Server logs are discarded after a limited period. Comments and their metadata stay as long as the comment is published, so follow-ups can be recognised. Correspondence is retained while the matter is live and for any follow-up afterwards.

What are my rights?

Depending on where you live, you may be entitled to: ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its processing, or withdraw consent you gave earlier.

The GDPR grants these rights to readers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. California residents have comparable rights under the CCPA, including the right not to be treated differently for using them.

Send any request to [email protected]. We may have to confirm who you are before acting on it.

Children

This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Our guides link outwards. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they do with your data. Once you leave, their policies apply.

Changes to this policy

This policy may change as the site does. The revision date at the top marks the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
